Two client projects,
three concept studies.
The client projects show where things were getting stuck and what we changed.
Client Project, Design & Engineering Live
Kat-Kauf
Design & Engineering
Get catalytic converters valued online and offer them for sale, at fair prices based on current precious-metal rates.
Kat-Kauf in use: enter a part number, show the price, add two to the cart, choose shipping and submit the sales order
Starting point
Purchasing catalytic converters used to involve many manual steps: clarifying prices by phone, checking part numbers, looking up values in lists and catalogs and taking down inquiries one by one. For sellers, the process was often slow and hard to follow.
Approach
The web app digitizes the entire first part of the purchase process. Sellers search for their catalyst by part number, see the calculated purchase price right away and can then submit an inquiry online.
Outcome
After the search, sellers know where they stand. The purchasing team receives requests with all the information it needs and can review them right away.
Client Project, Event & Networking App Under NDA
Private Community App
Event & Networking App
An event and networking app for a private community in the luxury segment. Covering pre-, during- and post-event experiences.
The community app in use: pick an event, buy and pay for a ticket, and the ticket with its QR code appears instantly
Starting point
For closed events in a premium setting, the process needed to become more professional and reliable. The events were already presented online, but ticket requests, payment checks, ticket creation, delivery and attendee lists still ran through individual manual steps. That cost time, led to many follow-up questions and made it unnecessarily hard to keep an overview before and during the event.
Approach
We moved the process into a web app. Members see available events, buy their ticket online and automatically receive it as a QR ticket. The app records payments, attendee data and ticket status in the background. At the entrance, a scan is all it takes.
Feature set
Members find their ticket in the wallet, their personal schedule, the program with speakers and sponsors, and additional activities. After each session, they can give feedback. In Moments, they share photos from the events, which others can like and comment on. My Network works much like LinkedIn: members add people they met at an event to their network and can chat with them. On site, this also works via QR code. The app installs straight from the browser, no app store needed (PWA).
Outcome
More than 200 tickets have been issued through the app, and over 100 members have used it. The organizer manages attendees in the same app, has less to coordinate by hand and sees in one place how many tickets have been sold and paid for and who has checked in. After the event, all session feedback is already collected.
The live link cannot be shared: the project was delivered under NDA. For the same reason, logo, event names and imagery in the preview above have been adjusted. Details, a live demo or references are available on request.
Concept Studies
Three invented brands.
Built as websites you can try.
We designed and built the brands and websites without a client brief. Together they show how differently a website can turn out depending on the industry.
All concept studies were created by Splendable. Brand names and content are fictional and serve illustration purposes only.
